In the 13th century, labyrinths were illustrated on the floors of cathedrals so that devout souls could walk the symbolic path without the perilous pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Today, the labyrinth walk provides a winding course to quiet the mind, improve health and create an experience of inner calmness.

The meditative quality of a labyrinth is created by working stitch over stitch, in timeless rhythm and pattern with an unspoken mantra. My hope is that those who wear my work wll share my creative experience.
