Although Joan of Arc lived a very short life, it was a remarkable one. From the age of 13, she claimed to hear voices and see visions that told her to rise up and fight for France’s liberation. In the 15th century, this was a very dangerous thing to claim, but driven by this divine calling she faced her fear, showed her authentic self and accepted her difference as a blessing.
